Getting engaged to your special someone is the most amazing feeling and we want to
capture that joy in your engagement session. 

We love engagement sessions because this is the time that we get to know you and your significant other while getting you both comfortable in front of our cameras.

We offer just photography engagement sessions but you can also add on a Love Story Video. 

Photography Engagement Session

First let's chat. Drop us a line on our contact page. 
We will be in touch within 24 hours. 

Next we find a date, send a simple contract and a payment link for half your session. 

Getting Prepared! 

After you have booked your session, I will send you some styling information to help you get ready for your session. Once you have your outfits picked out, feel free to send me pictures and I will
help you narrow it down. 

Day of Your Session 

We always recommend arriving 10 minutes early. That way we don't loose the gorgeous light we have planned your session around. Once you get there, we will find a spot to start shooting. I will help you place your hands and snuggle in. I love capturing real laughs and true joy, but I will direct you so you can focus on feeling that way naturally as you start to warm up. I love having fun with couples and find when everyone can relax, the real
magic starts to happen.

I always recommend couple's bring a playlist of their favorite tunes to listen to during their session. This helps lighten the mood and makes
everyone start to loosen up. 

Feel free to bring along props. Some clients bring signs with their wedding date or their favorite champagne. If there is something you would like include, just bring it along. 

If we are doing just photography, my sessions are an hour and a half, but I will never leave a
session until I have everything I need
to create a stunning gallery. 
 

After your Session!

After your session, I will go back to my office and pick out the best photos and touch them up. About two weeks after your session, I will send you a link to a microsite I have built out with your full gallery. You can download the high-resolution files directly to your downloads folder. I will also provide a print release. You are welcome to print your photos anywhere you would like, but you can also print them directly through your microsite. You are welcome to share them across social media as well. 

Adding on a Love Story! 

A love story is kind of like a video engagement session. We will do the exact same process as above, but add on a few things. 

As we are shooting photos, Nick will also be shooting video. He will help direct and make sure he gets all of the shots he needs. We will talk in advance and learn all about your true love story. We will help you narrow it down and come up with the piece of your story you would like to include in your video. This can be how you met, when you knew your S.O was the one, how you got engaged or any other meaningful story. We will pull you aside and find a quiet spot after your session and have you tell this story into a microphone.

More Info 

~We always try to shoot around sunset or sunrise.
This adds a really pretty romantic feel and makes sure
the light is soft and flattering. 

~ We recommend bringing two outfits. Anymore and
it takes away too much time from the session
